Are businesses in Oman closed on Fridays? |
Travel Info I don't know much about whether they run on a Muslim week or even what that would entail. Thanks for any help. Travel Tips yes they close on friday but if you mean shopping malls and markets not there all open Others Yes Friday is offical holiday in mostly middle east muslim countries like, UAE, Kuwait, Oman, Saudiarbia, Qater and etc. Normally they work sunday to thursday and friday totally closed and saturday some business r open for half day. sohailharoonkhanani@yahoo.com Yes, in Oman they're off on friday as in other country on sunday, and they start to work again on saturday. Myself-- worked and lived there before. Yes Friday in Oman is like a Sunday. Thursday and Friday are the same as our weekends. You will find that very limited things are open on a Friday yes Friday is holy day for Muslim and all businesses except drugstores or similar are close |
