Qatar Living? |
Travel Info Qatar Culture? I am planning to go to Qatar next month And I wanted to know some important stuffs. 1. Is it ok to live with a male friend since I am female 2. Are there enough vacant positons. 3. Are they strict Travel Tips Well first of all i would say Qatar is quit strict country, mostly woman are closed. Some of the hotel even strictly prohibit couple to stay in hotel without married cerificate. But they have plenty of expatriate working there as well, I worked there once, so if you want to stay together in private house I dont think that will be a problem, I suggest that you better find a good environtment to avoid any problem. and Yes, they have enough vacant position. Good Luck. Others qater is a good & rich countary . 1. Is it ok to live with a male friend since I am female ? I think this is against the law there . 2. Are there enough vacant positons? yes there are many vacant positons . 3. Are they strict ? up to your thinking , If you respect the law there believe you'll be in a great condition . well hello first thing, i lived in qatar all my life i think its a really nice place to live in and no people are not strict at all and you can live with any guy you want unless u pick up one of those bedwins on the street other than that its oerfect(abit boring tho) If you are dealing with westerns then its ok you live with a male friend, but never tell locals about it or they will judge you in a different way. Qatar is booming economically specially since 3 years ago but most vacancies are either for Indians or very highly qualified westerns. Keep in mind also that salaries are very low and housing very expensive. Qatar is still a very close mentality society indeed. Dubai and Bahrain are very opened though. Honestly, it's not worth it. |
