Job in Abu Dhabi / Bahrain 1400USD salary per month..? |
Travel Info can i actually survive and have at least an amount left for me if i work there with 1400USD salary per month? i don't go out at night, i shop for basic needs like clothes, food, etc, and transportation. also, have to rent a flat for myself there.. is 1400USD enough? Travel Tips $1400 is not bad and is livable - but that all depends on the cost of the flat. If you were moving to Dubai I would say for $1400 stay away. But considering it is Abu Dhabi (don't know anything about Bahrain) you should be able to find an affordable place. Go for it! There is a new restriction though. There is a new law here if you are a Filipina under 25, they will not issue a visa. Is that a crazy law or what? Source(s): Dubai resident Other Travel Tips if you are alone then it is a handsome salary to live and enjoy a peaceful life in abu dhabi. US$1400 will make around 5,100 UAE Dirhams or about 510 Bahrain Dinars. If your employer is offering free accommodation, the salary is worth it since food and other expenses in these countries are relatively low and for a single person, should not cost more than US$ 200 per month or even lesser. But if housing is not included in the package, it's simply not worth it since you'll pay almost 1/3rd of this pay for renting a room or a small apartment. More, if the area you want to live in is upscale. lived there Lulu, you are talking about moving to a muslim country.. do you even KNOW the restrictions you will have, as a woman, while living in a muslim country? It鈥檚 not worth the drama... because you won鈥檛 be able to handle it. Forget about a salary of $1,400 (530 Bahraini Dinars / 5,195 UAE Dirham) You wouldn't last long in this part of the world where accommodation rents are rising day by day... Food prices are souring; other services are getting expensive as well. There's no good transportation system here, Very expensive Taxis + buses only for the very low-wage workers, you wont find it comfortable traveling in them. It鈥檚 not really worth coming here for such a little salary... you mite last only 1 year... as by next year its predicted that the prices of rented accommodation will go up by 40-60% & living will get more expensive. I know how life here is because I have lived here for past 16yrs... For you it鈥檚 not that good here, more like time-wasting... why not try in Turkey or other European countries where the salaries are double than this company is offering you in Bahrain/Abu Dhabi. Do some research b4 you think of landing in the Gulf... & good luck with that :) |
