Where can i find jalabiyas and eyeliner?? H help!!? |
Travel Info hello everyone, i heard that h ur a top contributer so i would like ur help too, my brother in law is getting married and i am leaving in the end of june, i need to know where i can find jalabiyas that i can wear for his wedding, in dubai or sharjah that is not expensive i went to al yashmac and saw some gorgous ones but 1,500 is way to much for my my budget is up to 800 can u anyone help me. and i would like to know what kind of eyeliner do the emirati woman use, i have a black eyeliner pencil its good, but i see them wear it so nice and black what do they use ???? Travel Tips Well, I am from Abu Dhabi and do not go shopping much in Dubai or Sharja. I asked a friend and she mentioned: 鈥楤eena鈥檚鈥?outlet in Sharjah in Jamal Abdul Nasser Street next to Giant Supermarket. There you would find jalabiyas starting Dhs 500 for casual ones. Otherwise I only saw nice jalabiyas in your mentioned price range of Dhs 1.500 and up. Other possibility would be to ask a tailor how much he would charge and buy some nice material. That might be cheaper as long as you do not want one with any embroilering etc. Eyeliner: Kohl is the traditional but it does not work to good. Especially when you are sweating. Source(s): Abu Dhabi Other Travel Tips i dont know what jalabiya is but i can help you about eyeliner. what actually they use is something home made called kohl which is made out of natural stuff but it smudges a lot but the way it looks is much better than the cosmetic ones! you can find kohl in almost all traditional markets but somewhere to assure you where you can find is souq-al-islami (the one which the picture is printed on 5 dirham note) Hi Arabian Beauty.
