am doing a research on UAE traffic and accidents...plz help me in getting some data......or plz give your opinion about it...

Well I have just left the UAE after 3 years.

The driving there is scary to say the least.
everyone drives to their countries own rules.

people NEVER indicate, this is one of the biggest problems that i found.
Also the roads change change daily.

one thing that amazed me (and I nearly had an accident staring) Was children where not strap ed into their seats.
Child sat on the lap of the passenger in the front seat.
and the best of all was a very young baby over the shoulder of the driver on the Sheik Zayd Road.

When people want to move into another lane they think that you SHOULD move for them, this wheather there is indication or not

In the malls where people are meant to give way there may as well not be an lane markings as nobody uses them.

People double park and leave their cars and then the poor person who has followed the law and parked in the correct place has to try and do a 100 point manover to leave the parking space.
