Does anyone know about Desert Safari in dubai? |
Travel Info I was reading about it on the travel's page if you guys have done it what was the amount you paid i am traveling solo not sure if anyone i know over there would want to do this but i am interested how does it work? where is this located? do i have to do booking or i can just show up to the place? plz help me out thanks Travel Tips Yes, you will have to book, but that can be a day or few days before. You will be picked up around 16.00 o'clock by the tour company. The car will be filled-up with other people (the cars are mostly Landcruisers that can carry maximum of 7 passengers, but it is not so nice to be with seven. You don't want to be the middle person during the bumpy ride, so ask what their maximum amount of people is that they will take.) You will go to a meet-up place where more cars of the same company get together. Then you go in a group into the desert..., don't forget your seatbelt !!! It really is like a rollercoaster...., it is great! When it is getting dark you will go to the camp for a barbeque and belly dancing entertainment. At most of the camps you will be able to smoke Sheesha, have a henna painting, ride a camel, make a picture in traditional clothing and even buy alcoholic drinks. After this they bring you to your hotel or home, you should be back around 22.00 o'clock. The prices differ, shop around on the sites (I paid 150 dhs, but that was a residents promotion). Source(s): Dubai resident Other Travel Tips hi.. i have been to desert safari many times.. and everytime i have gone in a group.. so, check with some tour operators and it may cost u somewhere around 150Dhs. and dont go in this season.. u will enjoy the skids in desert (as sand will be much more dry) as is quite hot and humid. try it towards october-end or november. |
