Stopover In Dubai-Need Fairly Cheap Accommodation-Travelling On Budget? |
Travel Info In November am considering a stopover in Dubai. And although I will be travelling on a tight budget I will never be in that country again so am willing to go a little bit extravagent (little bit) on decent accomodation. Advice please? Also want to hear good/bad points on the area...pick pockets muggings etc. (I know I should not mention these but got to be prepared) Thanking you all Travel Tips generally speaking staying in Dubai is expensive, but you can cut down you living cost by choosing a cheap accomodation, instead of living in a hotel try to get a sharing accomodation or a room in a flat. some times its difficult to get a room for a short time but rooms are available from AED150 to AED 400 per day depending upon the area its located in and the facilities provided. Deira, Gusais, Bur Dubai, Jumeirah are the areas in increasing order for rent. if you wana be in the main city chose deira gusais or bur dubai to live or if you want a high class locality n peace full atmosphere choose jumeirah, springs, gardens, meadows or marina. in general there r no security issues all over Dubai. check this link for short term accomodation in dubai www.expatriates.com Asad Others The cheaper accommodations you will find in the Deira & Bur Dubai area. Check the tool on this page: http://www.startpagedubai.com/best_hotel... It will give you a list with the rates of all Dubai hotels you can book online, with the cheapest on top. Of course cheaper hotels are in less nice area's, but that means not like in many other cities; 'a more unsafe area'. One of the nice points of Dubai is a very low criminality. These area's are less interesting because of the buildings are more on top of each other, crowded streets and less luxury facilities. The good thing about the Deira area is the presence of the Gold Souk and the Abra's, both nice things to do. Have a look at this section 'things to do for Tourists' for more idea's during your stop-over: http://www.startpagedubai.com/#to-do-dub... Dubai resident One word of advice DO NOT visit the zoo if you are an animal lover it is discraceful! The museum is worth a visit though. It's a wonderful place, check out booking.com for good deals on rooms. A quick check for November shows Hotels from 250AED a night. Booking.Com http://www.booking.com |
