I am going to a millionares private island in british columbia in july,what is the appropiate wardrobe to take |
Travel Info it wil be july17-20.it is close to wahington state,alaska, and is in canada.there will be 9 couples. Travel Tips Bug juice (OFF bug spray....copious amounts) Sunscreen Bathing suit (for the beach) Scuba suit (for the water as it will have a major BRRRRR factor unless the beach is sheltered) Beach sandals Just your normal summer gear, with a jacket for the evenings. BTW, Seattle Washington and Juneau Alaska is at least 1 500 km apart (not sure what it is in miles!)..at that's measuring a straight line, so I DOUBT your island is "close" to both states. Source(s): Encarta Atlas Living on an island that is in Canada, by Washington state (Southren tip is about 200km from Seattle Washigton), and at the Northern tip of my island, is 977 km from Juneau Alaska (straight line measuring again)...remaining 350km for the lenghth of my island. Other Travel Tips sunscreen,that's about it. first, lucky you. second, it will be near 60's maybe hotter once in a while, but be prepared for rain! big time! mucho raino! i live in southeast AK so its actually the same temperate rainforest. ketchican(further south, north of where you'll be) get well over 130 inches per year... and that only counts rain, not snow... so its 130 inches in 8 months... bring raingear. An old anorak, your favourite shirt, cut-off jeans, and $400 shoes. (Er, close to Washington AND Alaska? Stop worrying about the clothes, and get an atlas.) As little as possible... |
