Why is Vancouver, BC so lame?

I absolutely hate the city. I live in the Downtown eastside despite the fact that I am attending UBC. If DTES is the only place where you could get shelter at a decent price in Vancouver, it is very bad for the city. I am deeply ashamed at the people who tour this city and call it a great city because it is a horrible city. I am moving to oronto, a much better place. I won't miss crackpot vancouver.

Travel Tips

My husband and I rent a 900 sq ft 1 bedroom apt with fenced yard for $500 a month including all utilities, internet, cable TV in Vancouver, near the PNE, in a lovely neighborhood of very well kept older homes. It's a safe and pleasant neighborhood, very much a community.

I say that to indicate that affordable housing is available in decent neighborhoods if you are willing to look for it, and have the kind of attitude and character a landlord would be pleased with.

Unfortunately, you are missing out, probably on all kinds of great things, limiting yourself by that chip on you shoulder. You might consider getting some counseling, I think you would find your life greatly improved in every aspect.

Toronto has it's share of crackheads too! Beware.
It will probably get better right after you leave. That's the way life is sometimes.

oronto is a great city too. I think oronto is classy and wonderful. You can't do any worse than oronto.

I think ontreal is pretty cool as well. ttowa is a little overrated. So is inipeg. lin lon, anitoba is the bomb though.
