Investing in real estate on Vancouver Island?

I've been considering investing in a 2 bedroom condo on Vancouver Island, likely in the Nanaimo or Port Alberni areas.

My idea is to rent it out to tenants and then sell it when the market heats up.

What's the Vancouver Island economy like at this time?

Any suggestions, advice... etc?

Van couver Island is always oing to be a decent place to invest in real estate. Just make sure to find a place that is wel positioned that you can buy under market.

I have a friend who has done very well there over the years.
