Seek Vancouver Hotel or B&B in Yaletown or Downtown? |
Travel Info Looking for a nice weekend w/ the girlfriend in Vancouver so I'm seeking a decent stylish hotel or bed & Breakfast in either in downtown or perhaps Yaletown ideally (which I've heard is nice). A friend recommended Hotel Opus which looks fantastic but is a little pricey. (approaching $280/night). Any other recommendations for something charming, hip or interesting, ideally in the $80-160 CAN range? I value quirky, cool and interesting over traditional business amenities (i.e. concierge, restaurant, spa etc.) Travel Tips The Listel ( http://www.resideo.com/ca/britishcolumbi... is actually pretty "artsy", you may want to consider staying there. In Yaletown, there's Sandman ( http://www.resideo.com/ca/britishcolumbi... ) & Georgian Court ( http://www.resideo.com/ca/britishcolumbi... ). Have fun! Others Check out this site and click on Canada on the left side. It should bring you tons of B&Bs in Vancouver. iBtraveling.com Try the Days inn downtown Vancouver, is a nice hotel is not expensive about 160 cad includes taxes and is located guess where, in downtown. . Check it out http://www.daysinnvancouver.com/... I would not take my girl friend to a Day's Inn - not if someone paid me to - what are people thinking of? Go to The Wedgewood Hotel 845 Hornby Street 800-663-0666 Check hellobc tourismvancouver Holiday inn downtown or metrotown You could try the Sylvia.,..older and probably more basic...but clean and comfortable and faces English Bay...great location. |
