Travel Info I want to practice my english and work maybe for a year. But I don麓t know how?? Travel Tips i think it depends on what you want to do, and how qualified you are to do that job. You would most likely find work, but maybe not what you wanted. Others No I live in Vancouver and if you're an immigrant you almost get preferential treatment. There's tons of jobs available... you should have no problem. Mosaic, is a non profit organization to help integrate new immigrants to the community. Best Wishes! =) http://www.mosaicbc.com/ Vancouver is a nice city and I'm sure that there are agencies to help an immigrant arriving there, but I would have to also mention that it is one of the most expensive cities to live in across Canada. The climate there will be favorable to someone coming from a warm city, since coastal BC has weather that is not unlike Seattle or San Francisco. I am not sure what your qualifications are for working in Canada. Are you planning to come here for office work or professional services (lawyer, doctor, etc), or for migrant services (farm work, maid, etc)? Depending on your job skills, you may decide that a different region of Canada is better. For example, Ontario and Alberta may offer more jobs than BC in clerical work, and the Maritimes may have seasonal work in the fisheries or farming field. Lots of work here The olympics are coming.. Theservice idustry is short staffed There are some jobs that are easy to get - fruit picking and packing , for example allow immigrant workers. But for other jobs, you might have a problem. Check with the Canadian Consulate in Mexico City for full details as they would pertain to you.
