Others nope... lots of raccoons and skunks... a couple foxes and coyotes... zillions of squirrels... no porcupines..... The North American porcupine can be found up and down the west coast (California, Washington, BC, and Alaska) and mainly found in forested areas where there are a lot of evergreens. They are mainly active at night. I am not aware of any porcupines that are present on Vancouver Island, and they probably would avoid a busy city like Vancouver or Burnaby. However, if you go to the parks around Kelowna, there might be some there. yes. They are stupid, and you see them as road kill all the time. |
