Travel Tips
just get your passport and green card and go. that's all you need. i visit my family often in vancouver (live in seattle). while i do have my maple leaf card, i just present my passport and green card at the border. you don't need a visa or anything like that.

ps. i'm an immigrant from the philippines as well.
Others
u have to go to the immigrants office and get a green crad
As long as you have your green card from the USA...you will have no problem re-entering the country. Don't leave home without it. Your passport is important for traveling, but without your green card you will not be allowed back into the United States. Enjoy your trip!
