Some people get a bit ticked at this stereotyping of Canadians as all pronouncing "about" as "aboot" and that we all say "eh". Only problem is that it is a regional dialect that might be heard in the Maritimes, but not everyone speaks that way.

It's like someone born and raised in Louisiana. You won't hear that same accent or slang in Montana, California, or Vermont.
