Why night life in Vancouver sucks?

Vancouver is such a beautiful city. Great mountains, the ocean, nice ski resorts, etc. but when it comes to entertainment at night one can only find teenage bars, hip hop music, etc. Except for a couple of interesting places in the whole area the rest is so boring. You can't event find a decent piano bar where you can dance and meet nice ladies. If your age ranges between 30-40 yrs. old, forget it. better go across the border to fun and exciting Seattle.

and? I think you don't need any answers since you made up your mind already that Vancouver's night life sucks. Try going out with friends, like house parties, maybe they can introduce you to someone.
