Travel Info Looking for a place to relax, hike and bike, and have peace and quiet. Travel Tips The Okanagan is wonderful. Many lakes, lots of places to hike. Very down to earth friendly people. Often called the California of Canada. Kelowna has an international airport and is a central city. Depending on the amount of solitude you want you could head to Naramata. But I love Vancouver Island and the Gulf Islands (eg Salt Spring). You should go to Long Beach / Tofino.
