wheat, rye, cereal, barley, corn, vegetables (too long for specific) potato. You can actually grow almost anything in Canada.
don't forget grapes, apples, plums, peaches...the okanagan has amazing fruit and wine, with fantastic wineries that you can tour and cazillions of roadside fruit stands. Peaches are the best, and usually are available in july. Penticton has a celebration of this, Peachfest.
