Travel Info I'm a greencard holder (u.s.a) do ineed a visa to travel to canada? Travel Tips No, you don't need a visa. Source(s): http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/visit/visas... (see the second point under Visitor Visa Exemptions) Other Travel Tips Yes you do! It doesn't matter if you are a US citizen, you still need a visa except the good part is that a US passport is granted an entry visa right at the border (I am thinking you wan to drive there). no i dont think so, NO YOU DON'T NEED A VISA TO ENTER CANADA. YOU'RE A US RESIDENT. NOT A TOURIST. I KNOW SO B/C MY MOM TRAVELED TO CANADA W/ HER GRNCARD LOTS OF TIME. JUST SHOW THE CARD TO THE CUSTOM OFFICER. U'R FINE TO GO. You can drive across the border without a greencard/visa/passport, but you will need a passport if you plan on flying or going by boat to Canada. no, you don't. i visited canada in 2004 and i just presented my green card at the port of entry. but, laws are forever changing and not sure if that has changed since 2004 |
