To Vancouver International Airport?

I am a tourist from Sweden. I am leaving Vancouver tomorrow, but I don't know how can I get to the airport from Downtown Vancouver. Could anyone please help me out? I prefer using public transportation to go to the airport.

I don't know where you are in downtown vancouver..but there is a bus called #98 (maybe #99) that will take you almost non stop from downtown to an exchange near the airport with an immediate connecting bus for the last mile or so...It's $3.25 for the trip (2 zone trip)..in order to find where the bus goes downtown...google in www.translink and it should give you times and locations.
a cab will cost you about 35-40 dollars.trust me I worked at vancouver airport for 31years
