Has anyone been to Garibaldi Lake in Canada?

If yes, then tell me if it is possible to go and come back in one day? How difficult is the trail and does it go through thick forest or not?

Yes, I've been to Garabaldi Lake, and it's beautiful. Believe it or not, there is a group called the Trail Running Society, who run some of Canada's most spectacular and scenic routes in 24 hour marathons. So they see almost nothing of some of the most scenic sites around!
However, you can get to Garabaldi Lake without running a 24 hour marathon. It's an 18 km round trip. That's about 14-15 miles. So how difficult that would be depends upon how experienced a hiker are you, and how good is your conditioning? It's not a tough trail. Yes, of course it goes through thick forest. That's what BC has most of.
But it is truly beautiful and well worth the hike.
