Travel Tips
If you want to go posh, there's Hertz and that crowd. If you're looking for something less pretentious, try Rent-a-Wreck or Thrifty. But depending on what you want to do in Vancouver, and where you are staying, you may not need to rent a car. Most of Vancouver's fun stuff is in the downtown area, where it's all easily reachable by bus or by foot. If you plan to see other sights outside the area, there are tour buses that will get you there quickly and easily -- and with no parking hassles!
Enjoy your visit.

I don't rent cars here but there is a place near where I live (downtown)--on Hornby street...called rent-a-wreck..I think their rates are good.
I used www.infocarrental.com when I looked for a car rental company in Canada. They have many car rental companies listed together with the contact infromation. You can call the rent a car company, ask for the prices and availability.
