Do u need anything when crossing the us border? |
Travel Info i plan on going on vacation in the states and was wondering do i need any documantion the cross the border from b.c. Travel Tips If you have a passport that is all you need. If not then your drivers license (or BC ID) and birth certificate. You may get in on just a drivers license, especially if you are driving. But they have the right to ask for two pieces of id. Generally, Canadian Nationals must show ID but are exempt from passport and visa requirements. However presentation of a Canadian passport, birth certificate, Naturalization certificate or other supporting documentation will facilitate the inspection and is strongly encouraged. Other Travel Tips I would think that all you need, at this point, is a birth certificate. That's all that is required of us, for now, to go to Canada. Eventually, though, we will need Passports. If your going to cross the border from the US, then you don't need any documentaries.
