Travel Tips You won't find a detailed map or mapbook for the entire province of British Columbia (it's just too big for that), but there are many maps and mapbooks for the various regions of the province, including Greater Vancouver and Greater Victoria. Any good map store should carry or be able to order those for you. Also, AAA or CAA (possibly AA, too) provide maps and mapbooks (for free) to their members. Non-members can purchase the maps and mapbooks. In addition, you can use the maps available on-line at www.multimap.com, www.yahoo.com or www.mytelus.com. Others maps.google.com search google.... u'd find everythin u need there Depending on what you want you could get maps from www.multimap.com http://www.multimap.com/map/browse.cgi?c... http://www.tetrad.com/mapinfo/can/mapdat... even better that maps at google.com is googles free software, "google earth". You can see street maps along with satalite imagry of just about anywhere on earth. It is very convinient for travaling, because you can do things like have it mark all the restrauts in the current view, or all airports, or all drug stores etc. To download google earth just click here. http://earth.google.com/ (if your PC is less than 5 years old, there is a good good chance it can run it (needs a broadband internet connection to work though)) personal experience |
