What is the best way to get from Vancouver Downtown to Whistler? |
Travel Info I will be staying in Vancouver for 4 days and was thinking of going to Whistler to ski. What is the best way to get there from Downtown? Travel Tips Helicopter. No, really, because of the Olympics, construction on the way to Whistler is horrendous. Others get a hand help GPS unit or use Mapquest.com Best way is to hop a bus. There are direct buses that go from the downtown area to Whistler. Much easier than driving and no parking hassles. http://www.greyhound.ca/ Have fun take the bus! Take Georgia St. West through Stanley Park, Over the Lions Gate Bridge, then Highway 90 to Whistler. Bus would be more convinient. Car is nice too so you can see the beautiful mountainous scenery on the way. It's about 2 hours away from Downtown Vancouver. |
