Stay in Greyhound Station? |
Travel Info Hi I'm taking Greyhound from San Francisco to Vancouver, but I'll be arriving there at 2:30am. I'll take a flight at 10:30am to Australia. Where should I stay? Can I stay in the Greyhound Station? Is it safe? Travel Tips When I working at the Hound station a few years ago, there was a hostel across pretty much across the street. If you walk out the main doors of the station, go straight until you get to the main road (other side of the park), turn right and walk, you'll see a hostel/bar place on your right hand side. I stayed there and it was decent, although I can't remember the rates, something like 50 bucks for the night, although I'm not 100% on that. They might even have a place right at the station for just such situations. I think you will be fine. That particular terminal is not too bad. If it were LA, I would say no way. But that is a nice terminal. Bring a blanket in your carry-on, that terminal is a little cool this time of year. Approximate charges for taxi's are $23-$26 CAN. 24 hrs. day I think your best bet is to go to the airport directly on arriving. Go by taxi. There is a Fairmont Hotel at the International Terminal. The Fairmont Hotel is very highly rated. http://www.tripadvisor.fr/hotel_review-g... You may be able to get a shower in their spa before your trip. The Health Club opens at 6:30 am.
