Other Travel Tips
Stanley Park, Capilano Suspension Bridge, Robson Street, Gastown, Chinatown, Scinece World, Planetarium,Thats all I can think of off hand.

Victoria requires a long ferry trip (2 hours), and usually you have to wait in line for hours to catch a ferry. If you can afford it its not all that much more expensive to fly over on small plane & takes much less time. I can't think of the name of the airline though.
Definitely also try to make it to Victoria. There is a ferry going every 2 hours. Trip is about 1.5 hours.
Weather has not been great there recently. Too bad you are not going in the springtime.
Granville Island.
I go to Victoria frequently, in my car, and have never waited more than one hour. Some people have their heads in the clouds. If you take the Bus - you always get on the next Ferry. When you get to Victoria - have a meal at the Blue Crab.
Must See: Metro Town! (big mall) :)
The Sky Train is pretty fun, too. Be sure to take it somewhere. :)
North Vancouver has some cool markets and things.
If you do it leisurly, a week is about right. For example, most people do a day trip for Victoria, but I would rather spend the night and come back the next day.
Places like Stanley Park & Gastown, 1 day. Shopping and Metrotown, 1 day. Granville Island, 1 day. North Vancouver & joining areas, 1 day. Add or subtract a place or two to suit yourself.
