Marijuana Cafe's in Vancouver?

I am headed to Vancouver B.C. from Seattle tomorrow and i want to visit a Special cafe, can you tell me where to go like an adress so i can mapquest and what i need to be aware of as i am an American.

I wont bring anything back but are the border persons going to question me as a tourist?

"wandering up and down Hastings Street" is not what you want to be doing (part of it is the poorest postal code in Canada, airborne tuberculosis, a virulent pneumonia epedemic right now, crack and meth zombies, heroin junkies.. if you want a pleasant experience do NOT go east of Cambie on Hastings...

Go to "The Amsterdam Cafe" and BC Marijuana Party HQ both of whic are located on the 300 block of West Hastings, between Cambie and Homer. You'll find what you're looking for...

word of caution - there are some extremely potent buds - so if you're in a smokey room mind that the scent isn't picked up on your clothing - or you MIGHT get a hassle returning across your own border.

Just wander up and down Hastings Street. You will find what your looking for.
Don't bring drugs over the border.

It's just not a good idea, no matter if it seems lax or what.

When you get to Van, ask somebody on the street who looks cool--they'll tell you. It's not as hard to find as you think. Just go out walking and keep your eyes open. Find somebody cool and be on your way.
