If you look in Burnaby, East Vancouver near the PNE area, you might find basement suites or smaller apts for $600 or so. I don't know what "less expensive" is for you ... you did not specify. Hubby and I rent a large 1 bedroom basement suite for $500 a month everything included, so these are available if you are lucky to find them. Others Just walk the West End and look for Vacancy signs. stay out of the west end , kitsilano , kerrisdale areas...they tend to be very expensive. |
