I have not had the good fortune to visit Nanaimo or anywhere on Vancouver Island yet.
I do, however, like Nanaimo Bars, LOL!!

I have never met anyone that likes Nanaimo.
love it there, friendly people also like the Dinghy Dock bar
stayed there 3 times
I like Qualicum, Coombs and Parksville better (I have lots of fond summers spent there :D )
I did...Im from edmonton and went to campbell river and had to pass through nanaimo...its better tan edmonton though.
I loved visiting Nanaimo although I thought that it was hilarious one year many moons ago I was coming into town when i saw a giant billboard reading "The Heart of Nanaimo" which was sitting on top of the liquor store lol. But still beautiful place and it a hop skip and a ferry ride to my fave destination paradise island.
