Which one of Victoria's universities are closer to Vancouver? |
Travel Info Victoria University or Royal Roads University? (Are there any other universities in Victoria too?) Any website that i can find the map of Victoria and the location of it's universities? Travel Tips mapquest is a good place to start for an online map. As Victoria is on an island and vancouver is on the mainland, neither university are super close. It is a 90 minute ferry ride to get from Victoria to the mainland. UVic is probably closer to the ferry than Royal Roads. Victoria also has a college, Camosun College which has two campuses. The Interurban campus is probably a bit closer to the ferry terminal. Hope this helps Source(s): live in Victoria Other Travel Tips UVIC is the closest being in closest proximity to the Swartz bay ferrie, but RRMC is a difference of only minutes, its in Colwood. Victoria is on an Island, which means neither are particularly closer to VAncouver as it is still a 90 minute ferry ride. The University of Victoria, is slightly closer to the ferry, but is also the most difficult to get in. You need at least an 85% grade average too be accepted Camosun College is a wonderful choice, as you can take your first two year of university there, and they are completly transeferable to any university. It is also a lot cheaper. http://www.camosun.ca This is a great website for locating things in Victoria http://www.tourismvictoria.com/content/e... |
