Travel Info PBS Boston travel tv show 2006 showed a vacation trip featuring a horseback riding trip in mountains Travel Tips I have not seen that particular show, but there are lots of dude ranches around BC.. specifically: Thompson - Okanagan Cariboo - Chilcoten Kootenay - Rockies with degree of "mountainousness" in descending order (ie Rockies have the most mountains). The "Flying U" (http://www.flyingu.com/) near 70 Mile House in the Cariboo is the oldest and one of the best known ranches .. consistantly gets featured on TV shows, and was named the "Best Guest Ranch in BC" by the National Geographic Traveller. The Cariboo region is by far the best for that "old west" vibe, there are numerous ghost towns from gold rush days..
