I wouldn't be so quick to burn bonds yet. Although they are traditionally known for less generous interest returns than stocks, these days you could perhaps use some more stability in your portfolio. Remember to always diversify.
A bond fire or a bonfire? Open fires are pretty well out in Vancouver as even back yard barbeques are not allowed during the summer months. If you want to burn bonds, you could always do it in the fireplace.If you want to have a bonfire, check with City Hall and find out what permits are required and what sites are available.
