Travel Tips If you are asking about "blue collar" more affordable areas in Vancouver, I would say the east side, but NOT the "downtown eastside" which is where the, um, "nonworking" class resides.... Commercial Drive, First Street, Mount Pleasant to the south, East Hastings east of Nanaimo Street, and on in to Burnaby ... generally speaking, east and south of downtown. Others I'd consider myself to be working class, and I live on the west side of Vancouver - it's not just all for the rich! |
