Source(s): http://www.booking.com/city/it/venice.en... http://www.ideatour.biz Other Travel Tips Venice is expensive, there are no cheap hotels. http://www.nycevenice.com/ I also found Venice a little pricey.....a couple of weeks is a long time there too...it only needs a couple of days to see really!! I stayed in 2 places (as to save money I stayed in a hostel one night) but the little hotel I stayed in had lovely views over a canal ..hotel Messiner, but some rooms don't have views. I thought it was very quaint and I loved the views of the canal and it was not far from the "boat" stop only a few minutes walk....the area was quiet (although my room was directly above the resteraunt or kitchen and was a little noisy in the evening, but was quiet later. Anyway it may not be your cup of tea, but I liked it (and the price was reasonably compared to others!) http://www.veniceby.com/messner/traveler... Check out Booking.com, once you have put in your dates you can sort by price (Cheapest I could find was 50euro). You could also have a look at Trip Adviser.
