Stoplights in Venice?

Travel Info
Just wondering, are there stoplights over the water in Venice?

Travel Tips
Yes in fact there are. There is one for example next to the fire station... to stop water traffic while the fire boats leave the station.
I've noticed one or two elsewhere along some of the canals. Generally when a boat has to round a corner the "driver" shouts "O-E" or sounds a horn, as a signal, so as not to crash in to another arriving boat.
Others
No, no stoplights at all..
