Travel Info I will take a cruise from Seatle to Alaska round trip. On the way back the ship will stop at Victoria (Canada) for 5 hours. I am not planning on walking out of the ship, but still I dont know if they will ask me or not for any type of document. I am a resident alien and have a residency card (green card) but I dont have a passport from my country. I want to make sure I will not get in trouble for not taking a document (for example a passport) If any body knows anything about this kind of situation please let me know.
Travel Tips
Usually a cruise company collects your travel documents when you board the ship for the first time, makes up a master list, then gives you your documents back. At each stop you have been pre-cleared through Customs and Immigration before arrival and just walk off the ship. I assume that if a country found you "unsuitable", they would tell the cruise line to just keep you on board. |
