I'm looking for the places where people bring their own instruments and play together.(not private studios)
My friend wants to play jazz music with local people and other tourists.

Yes, it's called Porgy&Bess and is in the first district, although I don't recall the exact address. They have jam sessions every Wednesday, and they're open to performances from foreigners and travelers, as long as they are good enough.
