Any place to go at HCM city???

i'm going to Vietnam this summer, and i've been looking for special places to go ( good restaurants, entertainments, etc.) Does any one know any place and the address ( so i can ask my daddy) Thanks

Travel Tips

There are several truly great markets throughout Saigon, Cho Ben Thanh being the most popular. Also, you should visit the war museum and reunification palace in district 1.
Two of my favorite restaurants are Cafe 357 on the "Rolex" rotary on Dien Bien Phu St, (owned by relatives and GREAT seafood, tell them anh my Rick says hey!) as well as Santo's Pizza on Bu Dien St (American andViet food).
Bring a bathing suit and visit one of the two water-parks. I've been to both but don't remember the addresses. They're both great places to be on a hot and humid day.
Another must go place is Vung Tau. It's a two hour bus ride from Saigon and a great beach and resort area. Say hi to "Belly" at Tommy's Bar on the southern beach and try their Sunday BBQ Brunch, it's delicious.

ps. one last thought, go see a Vietnamese opera at the historic opera house in district one. My wife's family laughs their a** off every time I sing Viet opera karaoke. I don't know 90% of the words, but I've got the facial expressions down cold lol.

I am going back to Pacific Bia Tuoi at 15 Le Thanh Ton Street in District 1 in 48 days. They have good food and cheap bia. Cheers.

Sorry but I suggest you should not visit Suoi Tien Park or Dam Sen Park if you don't have time because they're just amusement park.
You should check out Tao Dan Park, it relates to history and a very old park, was built up by French. Wanna have some fresh breath, go there.
