Why do visas to the USA too difficult to get in my country (Vietnam) we are not Islams?

Travel Tips
If I were you, I'd go visit somewhere else. Its not worth visiting a place that does not want you. Whtever it is you want to find in the US, you can find it much better, cheaper and with less hassle elsewhere - education, jobs, products, tourism, food.
Hey I have an idea. Why don't you visit the Middle East?

Entry into US is super-strict these days (thanks to revisions by Mr. President Bush), no matter what country. Even Canadian entry to US is a lot harder now.
Too bad...... you don't know what you are Missing
I don't mean because you can't get USA Visa
but I mean not being a Muslim
it's not only your country there are many countries. USA has establish very tight restrictions since 9/11 trying to stop immigrants from overstaying.
My friend is Thai and she is having a very hard time getting a tourist VISA. They assume that if you don't have assets, family, house etc.. in your home country you will not go home after your stay. For other VISAs there are so many people applying its hard to get in. I have no suggestion for you other than marrying a citizen but even a fiance VISA take a year.
Cuz the illegal immigrant number is very high in usa and the US gov trying to reduce the number by setting up a strictful immigration law to prevent the illegal immigrant entering US.
There are two type of visa : immigrant and non-immigrant.
It is stated that applicants for visitor visas (non-immigrant) must show that they qualify under provisions of the Immigration and Nationality Act.
The presumption in the law is that every visitor visa applicant is an intending immigrant. Therefore, applicants for visitor visas must overcome this presumption by demonstrating that:
~The purpose of their trip is to enter the U.S. for business, pleasure, or medical treatment;
~They plan to remain for a specific, limited period; and
~They have a residence outside the U.S. as well as other binding ties which will insure their return abroad at the end of the visit.

I am from 3rd world country and I was granted a visitor visa for my 16 days holiday in US. If you wish to visit US then my suggestion is you have to have a regular job,strong ties to your home country whether family,mortgage or job, no intention to stay in US for other purpose than visit, giving an honest truth information on your application then you will positive get the visa.

Unless your intention is to stay in the US legally (immigrant) then you have to apply for immigrant visa thru family member or thru employment. This may take longerbefore you are granted the visa.
