What should I see and do in Vietnam for 6 days? |
Travel Info I'll be leaving this week for Ho Chi Min, I would like to see the land and beaches, meet the people, and eat the food. Travel Tips In Ho Chi Minh City,you should spend two days.What to see : The war museum,the Notre Dame Cathedral square,the old Post Office,the central market of Saigon,Cholon - the chinese quarter,pagodas eat vietnamese food at Vietnam House on Dong Khoi Street or An Vien on Hai Ba Trung street. Two more days to spend in Mui Ne beach,Phan Thiet province 190 km from Saigon,a leisure resorts beach and eat seafood there. Two more days in Can Tho - The Mekong Delta to eat river food (fish) You should do this : once in Ho Chi Minh City flight to Can tho.then fly back to Ho Chi Minh.Go to Mui Ne and then back to Ho Chi Minh to fly home Have a good stay in Vietnam Source(s): Vietnam Tourism Other Travel Tips Go see the "Hanoi Hilton" The place where those zipperheads abused so many US fighting men.... then spend the other five days thanking them for the freedom you have to travel there. 1. The American War Museum 2. Take a tour of the Viet Cong tunnels used during the war 3. Tour the Imperial Palace 4. Take the Hydrofoil boat to Vung Tau Beach...Not its best beach but the boat is a blast to ride 5. Ignore the 1st A-holes answer, who appears about 40 years behind. The Viet people in the south remain quite appreciative to USA, VN is one of the fastest growing tourism locations on the planet and has several US based 5 star hotels: Renaissance by Marriott, Hyatt, etc 1. Cu Chi Tunnels 2. War Museum 3. If you have time/money you can take a short flight to Cambodia and visit Angkor Wat 4. Ben Thanh Market 5. Hanoi I've been there. Definitely head to Saigon. Notice I'm not using Ho Chi Minh City. Those Hanoi bastards shall pay...with their heads... MUON DOI VIET NAM CONG HOA! (LONG LIVE THE REPUBLIC OF VIETNAM!) |
