The streets surrounding the lake measures 1.07 miles. A good guess is the sidewalks surrounding Hoan Kiem Lake, which is where you will do your jogging, measures to a mile. My choice of jogging between Hoan Kiem Lake or West Lake would be Hoan Kiem Lake. You can jog the whole shoreline of Hoan Kiem Lake, while you will not have access to several parts of the shoreline around West Lake. Also, I think Hoan Kiem Lake has a lot more to see than West Lake. By the way... Maybe you can jog there, but you'll have to contend with hoards of strollers and people doing their morning calesthenics, as well the air quality is bad.
