About pacific airlines? safe?

Hi,
I'm some doubt about this airline company? Is it safe? the plane are recent? Are they old? there is a reactor or not?
I want to fly from hanoi to saigon.

Pacific Airlines is Vietnam Airlines with a better branded name for foreign travelers and non-domestic flights. Both airlines operate a dozen or so flights between Noi Bai (Hanoi) and Tan Son Nhat (Saigon) everyday. Most of the planes on those routes are either Boeing 737's or the Airbus equivalent. If you're lucky, you can ride on one of the roomier 757's. The planes are fairly new and well maintained. Also, the pilots are usually Australians.

The cost to fly between Hanoi and Saigon will range between $60 US - $100 US one way depending on the flight and availability. Usually the best bargain is what I call the red eye, which is the last flight of the night from Hanoi to Saigon. You'll leave Hanoi at around 9:00 PM and land in Saigon around 11:00 PM. Booked in advance is about $60 US.

Boarding and departing a domestic flight in Vietnam is an event in itself, and especially at Noi Bai. The Hanoians will cut you off on line, run you over and get very physical as they wrestle their way to a seat on the plane. It's like a human pachinko machine inside the plane.

F.Y.I. Vietnam Airlines has had a few crashes, but those crashes had been with smaller commuter planes landing in poorly improved airports. None of their bigger planes has ever crashed (yet).

ofcourse every airline is safe,i know that there are some airline crash but that was just a unlucky day right?how many airline crash a year?that number still lower than other accident cause death thought,about your question ofcourse pacific airline is safe as any other airline.just fly and do not be scare,if you scare to fly then do not fly thought,i flied as much as 12 times and i am enjoy evetry time i fly especially when i fly to asia!
I live in Vietnam and i have never heard of a Pacific airline crash.If you are really woried then travel with Vietnam air.
Pacific is a little cheaper than Vn Airlines. If in doubt fly Vn AA. I have checked on them and they fly newer planes; so I wouldn't be afraid to fly on them. We will be flying in and out of Hue and Pacific doesn't fly there; so we wont be using them. Cheers.
