Well, for sure you can even eat them here. It is one of the favorite dishes in the north especially in Hanoi. They will have a little show like they'll play with them and then kill them right on your table. what happens next is that they'll mix the blood with some kind of rice wine, the bile is not wasted either. There are 8 dishes made from snakes and all of them are pretty yummy. I was there with a bunch of friends and we pay 100 bucks for a big cobra (enough for 6 people ) it was fun. However, What i totally mean is that not many wild cobras out there exist. They are all on your dinner table.

Yes, but only in the jungle and some area that climate is suitable for them to live.

There are cobras through out South East Asia. I have never seen any in Vietnam; but i know they are there. I have seen Cobras in Thailand and Cambodia in the jungle. Not a worry. cheers.
