The houses for old people , in Vietnam ? |
Travel Info I like looking houses for old people , in Vietnam . The one take care good , I can pay for that ! Travel Tips Don't quote me on this,,, but I think it's called your family/ neighbors. If you have an older Viet that you want looked after, talk to the village chief. He will help you. If this person lives in a larger town or city, talk to the police or district chief. If you don't trust the government, hire a relative to look after him or her. It's not like America,,, Viet children are loved and protected. Viet seniors are loved and respectected. It's a major cultural difference. Source(s): Been there and doing that :-) Other Travel Tips In the Vietnamese tradition, the children take care of their elders and never would even think about placing them in a nursing home. That would be the biggest form of disrespect to your parents. Most Vietnamese parents live for their children - to give them the best education and life possible. In return, their children must take care of them when their parents grow old. That is tradition. I doubt you will be able to find any nursing homes in Vietnam. It might be best if you ask family to take care of your elders and provide them with a monetary incentive. I am Vietnamese-American - 1st generation. |
