When I was in Vietnam I ate this egg, and when I cracked it open there was a dead baby chicken in there? |
Travel Info It looked nasty, but I'll tell you.. It was deliscious... One of the best things I ever had. I have forgotten what its called? And, where can I buy them in the US? Travel Tips "vit lon"[ pronounced vit loan] it's a DUCK egg and you may be able to get them in an asian neighborhood or philipino restaurant... they are even more popular with the phillipinos they call them "ba lute"... ive seen them eat it on" fear factor ".. everyone ate 2 and "cleaned their plate".... Others ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww... Maybe in an Asian grocery store or butchers? This is a delicay in The Philippines too Get them for free on "Fear Factor" :) Baluut. To buy in the US, try oriental markets and grocery stores. I've heard that's a delicacy there-- but I don't know where you could find it. Maybe check your nearest big city for a Vietnamese grocery and give them a call. thats probably good oman or luck like when you get two yolks in one egg |
