Make sure you leave at least a couple of days for the visa to be issued - they don't give it to you on the spot. You have to leave your passport with them and come back 2 days later (it might be more or less time - I can't remember). Aug 6 yes, and you can get a longer visa from a forgien country ... i dont know why but you can only get 1 month in the usa but up to 6 months from thailand or cambodia?!??! you can also get one in about 20 min right in the sai gon airport [1 month only] Get your visa at the embassy in Thailand. You will get riped off if you get it through a travel agent in the US. My travel agent tried to tell me that I would not be able to get the visa once I was there but she was wrong. I got mine at an embassy in China. The workers in there were very friendly and gave me some advice about traveling in Vietnam, and some good places to go. |
