When is the best time of year to travel to Vietnam, for cheapness and weather? |
Travel Info From the US to Ho Chi Minh, under 1000 dollars (am I dreaming?) and for the weather not really humid or rainy. Travel Tips The best time for weather is probably Nov.-Mar. with Dec. and Jan. being the coolest, and less humid. The weather in the north is much cooler than the south during this time. Airfares will usually be lowest from the US from Oct.-May not including Christmas and Chinese New Year or Tet in Vietnam. I was in the south in late January and in the north in early May, and the weather was very pleasant both times, not too hot or humid. Have fun. Others I had a great weather when I was in Vietnam - early april if i can suggest you. not too hot but also not so many rain. North Vietnam is nicer than South Vietnam - just an idea ;) I don't know about the flight fare from the US. From Europe I flew via Singapore then with budget airline (tiger airways - cost around 38 US $) to Hanoi and from Amsterdam - Singapore (return) around US$ 800 with SQ. |
