Travel Info How the regulation & step Marriage between Malaysian and Vietnamese ? Travel Tips If you live in Canada or the US? No regulation differrent than any other marriage. Only problems? Family. Oriental (I don't mean South Asians cause their culture is far stricter) families sometimes can be rather conservative although, you'd be surprised how many of them adopt to the situation quite well. Others If you are a non vietnamese you marry a a vietnamese woman IN vietnam you need to go through a barrage of tests including a psychological examination, criminal background, blood tests and some other crap. I'm not sure for vietnamese men married foreign women; I would not be surprised if the double standard existed as it ok for a foreign woman to stay the night with a vietnamese man but not the other way around. Many people just go to another country to get married and the bring the certificate back to Vietnam which they apparently recognize without all the BS that you have to go through to do it within Vietnam. THat is second hand information as I have not YET gotten married here in Vietnam |
