Travel Info Can anyone tell me everything YOU know about this? dates, ppl, what they did, what caused it, how did it start, stuff like that~~~ PLEASE - or a GOOD website about it. THANKS Travel Tips the soviets came in brought comunism into the area in about 1960. The americans had given the french back control of thje land after world war 2 but the veitnamese drove them out.then the americans came to eradicate comunism. we put alot into the war and it was feirce fighting. both sides were brutal. the americans took peoples homes, that were in their families for generations and buned them to the ground leaving people in horible poverty.the americans later bombed the crap out of loas, my home country(5 milion tons a ton a person). There was also a revolutionn there and my grandfather, a loa four star genral) and all the other important people were put into torture prisons and that's were the royal family died out. every one else who had a future ahead of them left the county like my mom and aunt. the same happened to cambodia veitnam and china.
